[ He nods, starting two new stacks with each of the books, then takes the next two. On and on, until the books he brought over are all sorted. Then he stands, stretches, and gathers another pile to sort through.
And there are so many other things he could be doing. And some of them probably would be a better use of his time, measured by pure efficiency. But this is what he wants to be doing. He makes more estimated measurements, setting up piles that are about chest-height on G'raha, with the books for later on the bottom and the ones for sooner in the parts of the pile that he can reach without bending.
It's nice. Even if G'raha himself might have better things to do than sit and be asked what order he wants to read books in, it's nice. It's probably the only way he's ever going to be able to talk to G'raha about something that clearly matters so dearly to him, because he's never going to be capable of reading the bulk of these books.
The door's been clear for a while, but he's still contentedly bringing piles of books over. ]
[ Time does pass, yes. Before long the door is clear and G'raha's books are better stacked and, actually, more organized. At least organized in the sense that ones he wants to read are separated. Though there is a point where G'raha starts to have Marcel actually organize them better. By subject, more specifically.
While it doesn't seem right, to have Marcel work like this, G'raha does remember that the other likes having tasks. Just likes to spend time in the same room as his companions and listen. So that's what G'raha does, all while rattling and prattling. Rambling on and on about each book long after they complete the initial task. ]
